Accountant

Deliver the Hawaiiana Experience to Clients, Property Managers, and Vendors through accurate, timely, and efficient accounting and extraordinary customer care. This position requires executing, and overseeing the processes of detailed Accounting/Accounts Receivable needs for multiple clients, while maintaining a pleasant and professional experience with an awareness for the business needs of each individual client while meeting deadlines. This position requires advanced accounting knowledge, prior multi-client accounting context, customer service, and multi-tasking skills. The Accountant is responsible for preparing accurate and timely monthly financial statements; day-to-day processing and auditing of accounting transactions; maintaining accounting records in the administration of financial activities; financial record keeping procedures; interpreting and applying auditors’ instructions and management’s policies; and performing complex special projects.

Accounts Payable Clerk

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible in processing payments for association expenses. Sort, prepare, and validate invoices and check requests. Prepare and mail daily check runs. Maintain recurring vouchers and process payments in a timely manner. Maintain accounts payable files, assist others including but not limited to vendors, management executives, auditors, and accounting staffs. Assists with 1099 MISC returns. Process monthly chargebacks. Manage day-to-day payment AP cycle activities for at least 55+ properties in a timely and efficient manner. Must have good communication skills, punctual, problem solver, and a team-player.

Accounts Receivable Clerk

This position will be responsible for all actions related to cash receipts and accounts receivable activities including but not limited to collecting and posting payments, lockbox postings, ACH payments and online payments. Job duties also include generating reports and assisting with accounts receivable inquiries. Should also possess excellent customer service and communication skills to assist clients that submit payments in person. Great attention to detail, profound analytical skills and accuracy is essential to the success on this position.

ACH Specialist

The ACH Specialist is primary responsible for processing various ACH transactions such daily Special Surepay, returns, stop payments, and electronic federal tax payments. This position is required to execute the processes following internal controls and procedures. Computer skills with basic knowledge of Electronic Banking and ACH process is helpful. Must have the ability to multi task, strong data entry skills, accuracy, and meet multiple deadlines. Performing online banking and template setups and maintenance is an essential function of the position.

The Administration Specialist is responsible for backing up Neighbor Island Properties with their mailing. Back up the receptionist when needed and backup Covenants/Design when the admin is on leave. Clerical and administrative functions will be part of the daily tasks in addition to assisting with chargebacks.

Cash Management Specialist

Cash Management Specialist is responsible for effective and efficient administration of all cash accounts including client investment accounts. One of the basic objective of this position is to preserve the principal, liquidity of and earnings on association client funds. This position requires high attention to details, ability to multi task, and with good decision-making skills. Excellent Customer Service and familiarity with basic bank wires and electronic fund transfers. The primary daily tasks involve processing of all investment transactions based on client’s instructions and established guidelines on client’s investment objectives, maturities, current interest rates, liquidity and statutory limitations. Coordinating with all departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions in order to meet the objectives.

Community Association Manager

The Community Association Manager is responsible for managing and supporting a portfolio of community associations in all capacities, such as maintenance, financial, and compliance while emphasizing and delivering superior customer service. Should be able to attend board meetings in the evening and have Computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Experience with budgets and reading/understanding financial statements is helpful.  The ability to multitask, organize and maintain projects is part of the essential functions of the position.
